Lynden opens new service center in Belgium

LBR Staff Writer Published 02 February 2012

Lynden International, a multi-modal transportation and logistics firm, has opened a new service center in Brussels, Belgium, which will be operating under a new company, Lynden International (BE).

The new service center will strengthen the company's global network and will help meet the increasing demand for transportation and logistics services in Belgium's medical, pharmaceutical and other growth industries.

The new center will provide added capabilities to serve the medical and pharmaceutical industries with temperature-controlled shipping and single-point entry departure in and out of Europe.

Lynden International president David Richardson said the company is excited about this opportunity to introduce the Lynden International name and brand to the Western European market.

"We have had an agent presence in Belgium for years and understand the local demographics and business needs, but now we are offering customers the added benefits and capabilities of Lynden's worldwide forwarding and logistics network with its trademark customer service, advanced technologies and solutions-based business approach," Richardson said.

"This service center will give new customers greater opportunities and improve service to our existing customers."
